A step-by-step guide to using the Stakin Lossless Lottery

We’re very excited to be able to give you this step-by-step guide to using our first ever DApp, the Stakin Lossless Lottery. If you don’t own any $ICX, we would recommend getting them before starting with this guide, as you will need them to purchase lottery tickets.

So, Let’s Get Started
First things first, before getting started with any lottery game, you’ll need to get yourself some tickets. Navigate to: https://lottery.stakin.com/ and select “Get Tickets”. Make sure that you have the ICONex wallet Chrome extension installed. As of now, it is the only wallet extension supported to interact with the lottery. Support for Ledger and MyIconWallet is not yet available but we aim to deploy it soon. If you have the ICONex wallet extension installed, you will see a pop-up (image below) asking you to log in to the wallet that you’d like to use. Select the wallet of your choice, and click “Confirm”.
Once you’ve confirmed the wallet of your choice, a pop-up will ask you how many tickets you’d like to buy. Note: 1 ICX is equal to 1 Lossless Lottery ticket. When you decide to purchase tickets for the lottery, you automatically agree with the terms and conditions. It is, therefore, essential that you read these through before selecting “Confirm Tickets”.
An in-screen pop-up with your wallet’s details, such as your wallet name, transfer amount, the receiving address, etc. will be shown. Read the details carefully, and once ready, select “Transfer”. You will be asked to check the amount and the address once again before selecting “Transfer” once more.
When complete, the pop-up below will appear:
Congratulations! You have now bought your tickets!
On the Stakin Lottery Dashboard, navigate to “Profile”, which will guide you to the profile page. On the page, you will be able to see your total balance of tickets, your winnings, total $ICX balance, and the ongoing lottery.
By purchasing tickets, you’ve also automatically added them to the lottery. So, all you’ll have to do is wait and check-in once the lottery ends to see what you’ve won!
The Lossless Lottery is launched since Monday, 12th of October 2020. And the first draw will take place on Sunday, 18th of October 2020. Get your tickets until Saturday 17th to reserve your chance to win!
The website is now live, and you can buy tickets for the next draws!
The first prize will be sponsored thanks to a grant received from the ICON Foundation, a total amount of $ICX 2,000 + staking interests!!! 🤑🤑
