Stakin is now listed on Everest!
We’re excited to announce that we’re now officially listed on Everest since June 30th, 2020. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Everest. It is a platform that keeps track of all projects that help catalyze the shift towards Web 3.0. It currently has 223 projects listed divided into multiple categories such as research, DeFi, education, and more. Once again, we’re delighted to be included on the platform.
Pocket Network Upgrade to Pocket Core RC-0.4.1
Over the past weeks, there’s been a lot of news around the Pocket Network. On June 29th, 2020, the network announced the update to Pocket Core RC-0.4.1. The main focus of this update was to improve the Quality of Life (QOL) for the node operators. In the new release, pretty much everything is the way as it will be before Mainnet launches. In other good news, the Mainnet launch now officially has a date! The Pocket Network Mainnet Launch will take place on July 28th, 2020!!
Akash Phase 2
In other network news, the Akashian Challenge Phase 2 is now live! In Phase 2, the focus will be on Decentralized Exchange (DEX) Operations. The incentivized Testnet will be used to gather data, identify critical issues, and ensure our network’s scalability, security, and usability for a strong mainnet. Furthermore, 106 validators will be competing for the 64 spots as validators of the Mainnet.

Solana Staking and Mainnet
There has been a lot going on with Solana and the Mainnet. For example, the Mainnet has been down multiple times since its launch and has been very unstable. However, since all networks are experimental, we remain positive. Some good news is that after releasing the new staking guide document, staking will be open soon for all token holders.
BandChain Wenchang: Stage 3
The Band Protocol has launched Phase 0 of its Mainnet Wenchang successfully, and it has been a fantastic process. The first stage of the launch was focussed on onboarding numerous exchanges, wallets, and new community validators. There are currently over 48 active validators producing more than 1,000,000 blocks and bonding over 80% of the total BAND supply. The second stage was focusing on the different ecosystem partners as well as staking and transferring for the public. Now, Stage 3 will enable the Public Validator Nodes.
Cardano Virtual Summit 2020
On July 2nd and 3rd, 2020, the Cardano Foundation held the Virtual Summit 2020 — Shelley Edition. The summit, as the Foundation describes, marks the start of the future for the Cardano Network. With impressive speakers, from the Foundation’s commercial partners, Vinton Gray Cerf, the father of the internet, and more, the network celebrates blockchain technology.
In other Cardano news, the Foundation gave out five different grants for three months for the stake pool dashboard and monitoring tools. The recipients are Adapools, Adastat, JorManager, Pegasus App, and Pooltool.io.
